Fire leaves no injuries or major damage at Georgia Pacific facility in Warrenton, Ga.

WARREN COUNTY, Ga. (From news reports) - Warren County EMA and fire crews responded to the scene of a fire at the Georgia Pacific facility in Warrenton late Thursday night, Aug. 1.

Media relations representative, Rick Kimble said that the fire started around midnight within a wall of the old planer building. Kimble also says the fire was in the older part of the mill that is currently down while the company transitions to the new mill.

The media representative also says there were no injuries reported at the scene and no major damage.
