On January 16, 2019, Jim Thompson gave his career lessons talk to a class of new Pratt employees training for the upcoming startup up of the mill in Wapakoneta, Ohio, planned for later this year. Covering subjects from "The 3 Freshman Years" to "Final Exit" Thompson shared career experiences from forty-nine years in industry.
We trialed this idea in the second half of last year--call on those in the pulp and paper industry (this includes manufacturers and suppliers--to join me for an informal lunch once a quarter or so. It seems to be taking off.
