GREEN BAY, Wis. (From news reports) -- Multiple fire departments respond to a paper machine fire at the Procter and Gamble Paper Products mill in Green Bay.

Fire crews were called to the Day Street Mill around 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9.

An initial investigation found that the fire started at one paper machine and spread to others due to paper dust.

Other fire crews were called in to relieve the responding crew with additional breathing units. Firefighters were on the scene for three hours to put out the fire and hotspots that developed.

There were no injuries. The fire caused an estimated $2,000 in damage.
