No damage after small fire at ND Paper Old Town Mill

OLD TOWN, Maine (From news reports) - Employees and firefighters worked together to put out a small fire at the ND Paper Mill in Old Town Monday night.

A company official said just after 10 p.m., while cleaning the area an employee noticed smoke in a building containing scrap paper.

They used a fire extinguisher to attempt to put it out.

But the Smoke became more dense and Old Town Fire was called in.

They sprayed down the area and remained on scene until around 1:30 Tuesday morning.

No one was hurt and nothing was damaged.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
