CDP's annual environmental disclosure and scoring process is recognized as a standard for corporate environmental transparency. The rating recognizes Sofidel's work in engaging with and inspiring the company's suppliers in the fight against climate change. Sofidel received an A- in the report's paper products and packaging sector, positioning itself above both the European average and the sector average.
"Supplier engagement is a key element of Sofidel's sustainable development strategy, and being included in the Leadership band of the CDP Supplier Engagement Rating Report is an important recognition of the work done alongside our partners, in light also of our path towards our 2050 net zero goal. We will continue to work closely with our suppliers to achieve this ambitious target," said Riccardo Balducci, Sofidel sustainability director.
