CDP is a non-profit organization that runs the global disclosure system for investors, companies, cities, states, and regions to manage their environmental impacts. The organization provides a score from A to D, that rates environmental action in three categories: climate, forest and water security.
We are pleased to announce our latest CDP scores, which reflect our ongoing dedication to sustainability and environmental stewardship. This year, we have achieved the following scores:
- A- for Climate
- B for Forests
- B for Water Security
Climate Score: A-
This achievement underscores our strong performance in managing and reducing our carbon footprint. The score reflects our ongoing commitment to reducing emissions and developing low-carbon products as well as climate risk reporting. It showcases our leadership in sustainability through comprehensive operational improvements, strategic sustainability thinking, and our innovative sustainable products. Compared to 2023, we have significantly improved our value chain engagement, demonstrating our enhanced efforts to embed sustainability throughout our operations.
Forests Score: B
This score highlights our proactive approach to managing forest-related risks and opportunities. Key initiatives contributing to this score include promoting sustainable sourcing practices to prevent deforestation such as using mostly certified fiber, engaging with suppliers to ensure compliance with our forest conservation policies, and transparently reporting on our progress and challenges in forest management.
Water Security Score: B
This score reflects our commitment to responsible water management. It is a result of conducting thorough water risk assessments and acting on those through implementing water reduction measures across our operations.
Continuous Improvement
While we are proud of our current scores, we recognize the importance of continuous improvement. We are committed to further enhancing our environmental performance by implementing impactful projects on climate, forests, and water security. We aim to increase our engagement with stakeholders to drive collective action, and continuously monitor and report our progress to ensure transparency and accountability.
