EUGENE, Ore. (From news reports) -- Eugene Springfield Fire (ESF) were on scene Sunday for an industrial fire at the Weyerhaeuser location in West Eugene.
ESF crews were alerted to the fire just after 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 31st.
According to ESF, the first arriving engine from the Danebo Station received reports of a press on fire, inside the facility.
Crews extinguished the fire quickly before it extended to the building or other equipment.
Staff from Weyerhaeuser worked to keep the fire in check before fire crews arrived.
The fire is under control and there were no injuries reported.
