WEST MONROE, La. (From news reports) - At 1:03 p.m. on Sept. 3 the Ouachita Parish Fire Department was dispatched after receiving reports of a fire at Graphic Packaging International on Jonesboro Road.

According to the OPFD Chief of Fire Prevention Dusty Harris, firefighting crews arrived on scene at 1:09 p.m.

OPFD officials said that a conveyor belt carrying wood chips caught on fire. No injuries were reported.
