West Virginia officials ID victim in fatal logging accident

WEBSTER SPRINGS, W.Va. (From news reports) -- Authorities in West Virginia have identified the man who died in a logging accident this past week.

According to reports, the Webster County Sheriff's Office identified the victim as 24-year-old Dustin Eugene Waugh.
The Webster County resident was working in the Jerryville area for Donald and Sons, a logging firm contracted by Weyerhaeuser.

A Webster County 911 Center news release Thursday said the man was killed while cutting timber. The release said the accident is still under investigation.
