NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (From WCBD-TV) -- Two employees of a North Charleston KapStone facility are recovering after being exposed to a chemical on Tuesday, May 24.

Officials the two KapStone employees were performing work when they were exposed to a chemical used in the manufacturing process. Both employees sustained injuries and were transported to medical facilities for treatment.

At this time, the specific cause of the incident is still under investigation.

The company says its "immediate concern is of our employees and their families."
