Södra announces the increase of prices for timber as of January 18. As the company notes, good demand for logs remains. The price increases apply to regular lumber and small grades of spruce and pine lumber. At the same time, the company notes that there is still great uncertainty in the global wood market, which means that the situation can change.

The following price adjustments are made and apply from January 18, 2024:

The basic price for spruce timber and pine timber is increased by SEK 100 per m3 fub
The basic price for rough timber will be increased by SEK 80 per m3 fub.
