Rengo's Thai joint venture acquires 60% of Indonesian packaging manufacturer Mypak

Thai Containers Group Co., Ltd., a joint venture of Rengo Co., Ltd., will acquire a 60% stake in Indonesian corrugated packaging manufacturer PT Prokemas Adhikari Kreasi, commonly known as Mypak. The acquisition, to be finalized by the end of 2025 through TCG subsidiary TCG Solutions Pte. Ltd., will increase the Rengo Group's total number of corrugated packaging factories in Indonesia to 12. This strategic move strengthens the group's footprint in Southeast Asia, a region it has identified as a key focus for its overseas operations. The transaction was confirmed by Rengo Co., Ltd.

Mypak operates one factory in Bekasi Regency on Java Island. The Rengo Group already maintains a significant presence in the Indonesian market with four factories through joint venture PT Surya Rengo Containers and an additional seven factories operated by TCG.

Thai Containers Group Co., Ltd. is primarily owned by SCG Packaging Public Company Limited, which holds a 70% stake, with Rengo Co., Ltd. holding the remaining 30%.
