Papertech enters agreement with Billerud Korsnäs, Gävle mill in Sweden

SWEDEN (News release) -- Papertech Inc. has entered into an agreement with Billerud Korsnäs, Gävle mill to supply an additional 28WebVision® WMS high-definition GigE® digital cameras to PM5 to complete a 36-camera all-digital system. PM5 produces high quality liquid packaging board with a trim width of 7290mm and operates upto 750m/min speed.

In 2007 Papertech installed the first WebVision system on PM5 consisting of 28 analog cameras. Following the 2014 addition of 8 high-resolution and high-speed digital cameras to the multilayer wires ection, machine production personnel were so impressed with the improved image quality it was decided to move forward with replacing all the older analog cameras with TotalVision industry-leading 3.2Mp ones.

Other benefits of this upgrade include the latest TotalVision Intel® servers and advanced Windows®10 based TotalVision software offering over 72 hours of extended video history and many other production optimizing enhancements. All lighting will also be upgraded to our latest WebLED industry leading high-performance LED. Installation is scheduled for spring 2019.
