Miami University Paper Science and Engineering Foundation announce scholarship winners

​OXFORD, Ohio (From the Miami University Paper Science & Engineering Foundation) -- Please join the Paper Science & Engineering Foundation in congratulating this year's winners of the Williams Leadership Scholarships.​

These FULL-TUITION scholarships are extremely competitive. Recipients are selected by committee; applicants must be pursuing a Minor in Paper Science at Miami. The scholarships are made possible through the generosity of Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Williams. Mr Williams, now retired, led an exemplary career, most notably as co-founder of the James River Corporation.

This year's winners are:

Emily Allen (3rd year winner) - Senior; Chemical Engineering/Paper Science & Mathematics Minors. Emily has accepted a position with Georgia-Pacific Corporation upon May graduation.

Miranda Caudle - Senior; Chemical Engineering/Paper Science, Mechanical, & Physics Minors. Miranda will be pursuing a Master's in Paper Science here at Miami after obtaining her Bachelor's degree this coming May.

Sebastian Diaz-Rodriguez - Senior; Chemical Engineering/Paper Science Minor. Sebastian has accepted a position with Avery Dennison upon May graduation.

Christopher Hill (2nd year winner) - Senior; Chemical Engineering/Paper Science & Mechanical Engineering Minors. Chris is currently evaluating job offers in the pulp and paper industry for after May graduation.

Daniel Knettel (2nd year winner) - Junior; Chemical Engineering/Paper Science & Japanese Minors. Danny will be doing an internship this coming summer with Georgia-Pacific Corporation.

Jonathan (Jack) Parrish - Junior; Chemical Engineering/Paper Science Minor. Jack serves in two executive positions in engineering clubs and is pursuing a second internship in the paper industry for next summer.

Zebulun Pontius - Senior; Mechanical Engineering/Paper Science & Statistical Methods Minors. Zeb has accepted a position with Domtar Paper upon May graduation.

Isabelle Tessier - Sophomore; Mechanical Engineering/Paper Science & French Minors. Isabelle interned with Domtar Paper this past summer and is pursuing another internship in the paper industry for summer 2017.
