Ari-Pekka Vanamo has been appointed Vice President and Mill Manager of Metsä Group's Kemi bioproduct mill, effective 1 December 2025. He will report to Senior Vice President of Pulp Production Timo Ahonen, moving from his current role as the company's Vice President of Employment Relations.
The current mill manager, Pekka Kittilä, will transition to the newly defined role of Technical Operations Director on the same date. In this position, he will be responsible for ensuring the mill achieves its full performance potential and will also report directly to Timo Ahonen. Both appointments are part of the ongoing development of the Kemi bioproduct mill's operational leadership.
