Kaiser Aluminum (KALU) said post-market Monday it appointed Amcor executive Fred Stephan as its new President and CEO, effective November 1, succeeding Keith Harvey, who will transition to Executive Chairman following a 45-year career at the company.
Stephan most recently served as COO of Amcor Global Flexible Packaging Solutions, where he oversaw global manufacturing, R&D, and commercial functions, including sales, marketing, and product management for over 200 manufacturing sites across more than 35 countries with 40K employees.
He previously spent five years as a Business Group President of Amcor Flexibles North America following Amcor's acquisition of Bemis Company, where he had been President of Bemis North America.
Harvey has led Kaiser (KALU) since July 2020 and has served as Chairman since January 2025; previously, he was President and COO during 2015-20 and was Executive VP of the company's Fabricated Products unit in 2014-15.
