LP Building Solutions Releases 2024 Sustainability Report

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (News release) --LP Building Solutions (LP), a leading manufacturer of high-performance building products, released its 2024 Sustainability Report. This comprehensive report highlights LP's continued leadership in sustainability through five key pillars: Governance, People, Environment, Products, and Community.

  • Greenhouse Gas Emissions: Decreased Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions intensity per dollar of net sales by 41% since 2019.

  • Renewable Energy: Achieved 80% of energy use from renewable sources in 2023.

  • Recognition: Named to Newsweek's list of America's Most Responsible Companies.

  • Community Support: Donated nearly $1 million to causes important to local communities in which we operate.

  • Inclusivity Training: Trained 100% of active North American team members in the company's customized inclusivity program.

  • Mental Health Services: Offered free and unlimited mental health counseling services for all U.S. team members.

  • Sustainable Sourcing: Sourced 100% of wood fiber in adherence with stringent forest certification standards, including the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® in North America and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification in South America.
