International Paper confirms two COVID-19 cases at North Carolina facility
VANCEBORO, N.C. (From news reports) -- Two coronavirus cases have been confirmed at International Paper in Vanceboro, the company says.

Director of Corporate Communications Tom Ryan says the health and safety of employees and contractors at the mill are paramount to the company, and both individuals were instructed to self-quarantine.

Using close-contact tracing, Ryan adds that those near the two confirmed cases have implemented self-quarantine protocols "out of an abundance of caution."

The company says it continues to practice personal hygiene, social distancing, site cleaning and other health guidelines recommended by the CDC.
