Valmet is to supply a Belt Roll Doctor upgrade and On-site service to Asia Paper Mfg. Co., Ltd. for its Sejong mill in Korea. The upgrade aims to increase the dryness after press section and improve the moisture profile. The start-up is scheduled for the second quarter 2025.
The order is included in Valmet's orders received of the first quarter 2024. The value of the order will not be disclosed.

Valmet's scope of delivery will comprise a Valmet Belt Roll Doctor upgrade and overhaul for existing third-party roll including an On-site service.

Asia Paper Mfg. Co. Ltd. was established in 1958. The company has specialized in the production of kraft paper, gypsum linerboards and testliner.
