LP Names Derek Doyle as Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer

Louisiana-Pacific Corporation announced the appointment of Derek Doyle to vice president, controller and chief accounting officer effective immediately.

In this role, Doyle will lead LP's accounting, budgeting, internal controls, internal and external financial reporting, and governance and compliance for the company's financial statements and disclosures.

"As we work to transform LP into a leading building solutions company, Doyle brings a wealth of experience in financial management and accounting operations," said LP Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Alan Haughie. "We are confident that he will be an asset to our team as we continue executing our strategic transformation to deliver top-tier value for our customers and shareholders."

Prior to joining LP, Doyle served as vice president and controller at SmileDirectClub and held various leadership positions at Asurion, including chief financial officer for the company's Latin America, Canadian and Philippine operations.

Derek holds a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a B.S. in Business Administration from Auburn University, and is a certified public accountant (CPA).
