AstenJohnson invests $2.5 million at dryer fabrics plant in Kanata, Canada

AstenJohnson announces a new investment in its Kanata Ontario dryer plant. This investment will address the increased demand for locally supplied dryer fabrics in the US and Canadian markets.

The AstenJohnson Board of Directors approved an investment of $2.5 million to install a new high-speed loom to expand their ability to deliver quickly to the North American market. They are also hiring new associates to match the increase in production as well as provide excellent customer service. This investment fortifies their commitment to increase supply, while still providing the high quality their customers rely on.

It is expected the loom to be operational during the 1Q 2021.

AstenJohnson is a global manufacturer for the paper industry, supplying paper machine clothing and advanced filtration fabrics to papermakers around the world.
