Canfor Corporation announced it is providing $125,000 to the Canadian Red Cross' British Columbia Flood and Extreme Weather Appeal to support their response efforts.
Paper Excellence announced that it is donating $50,000 to Saskatchewan Polytechnic to create a Paper Excellence student awards scholarship program. The scholarship awards will be distributed over the next five years with $2,500 available to each of four students each year.
RRD announced that it has received a proposal from Chatham Asset Management, LLC ("Chatham") to acquire all of the outstanding shares of RRD not already owned by Chatham for $9.10 per share in cash.
