Södra has been named the winner of Växjö Municipality's Timber Construction Award 2025 for its long-term and sustainable approach to timber construction. The award recognises those driving progress in sustainable building and inspiring continued innovation.

With roots in the forest and a clear strategy for a more sustainable society, Södra takes responsibility for the entire value chain - from forest to finished building. Our solutions combine strength, design and a low climate footprint. One example is the production of cross-laminated timber, used in projects where the full potential of wood truly comes to life.
