PICKAWAY COUNTY, Ohio (From news reports) - Emergency responders are at Sofidel located off US-23 in Southern Pickaway County on a call of a man with his hand caught in the paper machine.
According to dispatch around 4:30 pm on December 27, 2020 a call came into Pickaway Sheriffs office of a man who got his hand caught in a machine within the Sofidel mill. When emergency responders got on scene they called for a medical helicopter to fly the man to Columbus Hospital for Critical care.
Medflight said that they were about 22 minutes out for a response, it was unsure if the helicopter will land at the mill or at Berger Hospital.
