KALAMAZOO, MI (From news reports) -- A small fire occurred at a paper mill in Kalamazoo and was quickly extinguished, the company said.

About 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, a "small, isolated fire" started inside the Graphic Packaging International paperboard mill at 1500 N Pitcher St. It was quickly extinguished by company team members, GPI said.
