PORTLAND, Ore. -- Campbell Global announced it is exploring strategic alternatives for Menasha Forest Products Company (MFPC), including a potential sale of MFPC.

MFPC is a privately-held timber real estate investment trust (REIT) engaged primarily in the ownership and management of approximately 132,000 acres of high-quality timberlands in Oregon and Washington. In addition to the ownership and management of timberlands, MFPC owns and operates subsidiaries that conduct logging operations, and a Higher and Better Use (HBU) disposition program.

MFPC has retained Goldman, Sachs & Co. to serve as financial adviser.
