Genuine vegetable parchment offers optimal release, greaseproof and heat resistance properties, making them ideal for cooking and baking, food packaging and processing applications in both professional and domestic use. The market for parchment products is estimated to grow by approximately 3-5% annually.

This highly attractive Euro 7 million investment started up successfully in September 2018. Base paper for the parchmentizer line is sourced internally allowing also a more favorable product mix within the Food Packaging business, part of the Specialties business area.
