AF&PA: Historic Opportunity Before Congress to Repair Broken Tax System | AF&PA,

WASHINGTON, D.C. (News release) - American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) President and CEO Donna Harman issued the following statement regarding the historic opportunity for comprehensive tax reform following the release of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act:

"Congress has an historic window of opportunity before it to repair a broken tax system and unleash long-range economic growth, job creation, investment and competition. Achieving that result will be difficult, no doubt, but as one of the largest, manufacturing sectors in the country, we are committed to working with all concerned to deliver a solution that works. Jobs, larger paychecks and a higher standard of living are on the line - for our industry and others - and we encourage policy makers to focus on the task at hand to set a foundation for growth for generations to come."
