Fire at Expera mill in Wisconsin

MOSINEE, Wis. (From WSAW) -- A spokesperson for Expera Specialty Solutions said employees were evaluated for smoke inhalation following a fire Wednesday morning.

Addie Teeters stated in a news release, a fire started in duct work in one of the paper machines. There was no substantial damage and the mill will face no down time as result.

The site is the former Wausau Paper Mill.

A call came in to dispatch just before 10:30 a.m. Wednesday reporting a fire on the building roof.
