American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) President and CEO Donna Harman issued a statement regarding the opportunity for comprehensive tax reform given passage of the Fiscal Year 2018 Budget Resolution.
WorkSafe BC and Howe Sound Pulp and Paper (HSPP) continue to investigate suspected gas leaks that sent two workers to hospital Oct. 12 and caused an unspecified number to experience what WorkSafe describes as "symptoms ranging from exposure to strong / noxious / foul odors, to feelings of light headedness, dizziness, nausea, sore throats, and headaches."
